The comfortably styled, thatched Mahangu Lodge in the Caprivi Strip of Namibia is next to the Mahango National Park. Beautifully situated amongst Jackalberry trees and Wild Date palms, the lodge provides a main deck area with an excellent view of the Caprivi National Park, home to elephants, buffaloes, hippos and fish eagles. The Mahango National Park is rich in fauna and flora. You will see sable and roan antelope, elephants, hippos, buffalo and many other antelope. For bird watchers the park offers more than 420 different species. Game drives to Mahango and the west Caprivi National Park, boat trips on the Okavango River as well as fishing excursions are offered… The lodge is a convenient stopover for travellers to and from Botswana, the Caprivi Strip and Victoria Falls. The Lodge lies 22 km south of the town Divundu, at the western bank of the Okavango River en route to the Mahango National Park. The Bagani airstrip is only 7 km away from the lodge.
