At Impalila Island Lodge we combine our guest’s leisure time creatively with excellent, unobtrusive service, outstanding cuisine and a variety of activities, including sunset game cruises, mokoro trips, island walks, excellent birding and tiger fishing, as well as visits to traditional fishing villages. The lodge is centered innovatively around two ancient baobab trees on Impalila Island at the confluence of the Zambezi and Chobe rivers in Caprivi, where Namibia meets Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe. We have eight luxury wood-and-thatch chalets, each privately situated and with elevated decks at the water’s edge, a swimming pool, curio shop, reference library and landing strip. A community development levy of 40 N$ per person/ per stay is payable on arrival.
